Yin & Yang in Daily Life

Health is best maintained through the practice of moderation. To achieve moderation, there must be a balance between activity and inactivity. Yin and Yang are relative terms. Yin in comparison to Yang is associated more with rest/inactivity. Yang, in comparison to Yin, is associated more with activity. Yang activities should be balanced with Yin activities. Engage in more Yang activities during daylight hours. While evening and night time should consist of more Yin activities.
